Arnold Artisan Ovens Flatbreads

March 31, 2011

These new flatbreads are so versatile that they can be used at any meal or between meals.  You can roll, dip or rip ‘em, and bake, grill or enjoy them fresh out of the package. And with the three varieties – Original, Savory Herb and Multi-Grain, you’re sure to find one you love

Right now these are only available in the Northeast at Wal-Mart and Sams Club, but the company hopes to sell them everywhere soon. they retail for $3.49

These taste just like Pita bread, and there are so many uses for them. We received all three varieties, and ate them plain, with dip, as bread for sandwiches, and more. Our favorite was savory Herb, it just had a little extra kick. The best part is they received my husband s deal of approval, which is a very hard thing to do!                                      I also received a reusable shopping bag, oven mitt and coupons. I love getting shopping bags with companies logos on them, I always have people ask about them, what are they? Is it good? etc.

My rating:8

Competition sparks, and the trucks challenge each other to a contest. Chuck creates a stunt course and tries to do better tricks than Flip. Flip builds a tall tower and tries to climb higher than Chuck. In the end, the trucks learn a valuable lesson: they need each other to succeed. Will the trucks become friends? Find out in this action-packed adventure!

We love chuck, he is so much fun. My son watches him on the hub everyday. In this movie Chuck meets Flip and they compete against each other. Chuck actually seems to be a little jealous that Flip can do things he can’t, but in the end they become friends and realize no one is perfect at everything. The movie package also comes with your own miniature Chuck toy! William can’t wait until a Flip toy comes out, he is super excited that Chuck has new friends.     We also received some Chuck car toys, a book set, sticker book, and Chuck cookie cutout.  William just went crazy over everything, he has become so attached to everything and won’t even let his sisters come near them.  Chuck is character to have a party with or even just to have a playdate.

Retail:$9.99 for the movie

Potty Training Success

March 29, 2011

We started potty training my youngest a couple weeks ago. I have two older girls and it seemed easy to potty train them, but with my son it was very emotional. One day he would go great, the next day nothing. So frustrated, Finally I just let him go at his own pace. He did request Cars underwear which I got for him, and he wore them with accidents.

Then a few days ago he just started going all the time.  He has had a few accidents when he is outside playing or something, but the past two days he has been able to sleep without a pull up on.  So my advice to others potty training would be. Try but don’t push, and always reward when he does go.

So I am excited that There are no more diapers in my house!

KinderCare Summer and Spring Camp Fun

March 28, 2011

Summer is approaching and my kids will be out of school, so now is a great time to start thinking about summer camps and ways to keep the kids entertained while they can learn.  My husband will have a long summer working and while I am home, its hard to get out and about with 3 kids and do summer activities. So I am looking into Summer camps.

One of the places I’ve looked into is KinderCare since I have 2 children preschool age.  KinderCare has a variety of Summer and Spring camps available for all ages, from Toddler to Kindergarten.  Spring camp is all about getting down in the dirt and learning about science, while Summer camp there are 12 different fun Summer themes to choose from.

If your Spring break hasn’t passed yet, you can get in on the fun at Spring camp.  Spring camp is held during your school districts Spring break, and will have your child planting and tending to vegetables. They also get to make compost, garden related crafts, and even prepare their own veggie treats.  This is perfect for the kids who like to dig and get dirty.

If your spring break is passed, then you can still think about Summer camp like Scienterrific and Kids Kitchen.  I like Scienterrific because my husband is a scientist and I think it’s interesting for them to see what daddy does. Children learn physics of movement through hands on activities, like making paper airplanes.   Kids Kitchen help kids identify what they are eating, and determine what family they belong in.  They also get the chance to cook, making things like salsa, fruit fiesta and more.  It’s all centered around fruits and veggies.

There are over 1300 KinderCare locations, Check out the website and find one near you to get your kids started on a Spring or Summer fun adventure.

Disclosure: No compensation was received for this post. I will be receiving a free week of camp from KinderCare through Mom Select.
