The Closer: The Complete Sixth season On DVD

The Closer is an American crime drama, starring Kyra Sedgwick as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, a Georgia police detective who arrives in Los Angeles to lead the Priority Murder Squad, later renamed Priority Homicide Division and currently called Major Crimes Division, a team that originally (seasons 1–4) dealt with high profile murder cases.

Kara Sedgwick is one tough cookie. She always gets her job done like a man, but still having her feminity.     Kara’s character Brenda is a chief of a homicide division in Los Angeles, taking on some tough jobs. She takes her job very serious and even takes down criminals like a man, but keeping her feminity, composure, and not lose her head.   The Closer Is a great show for showing women can be in power.

Other women who have the same qualities: Superwoman, of course fighting crime while still looking sexy.  There are women taking on mens work all the time. Carpenters, police, fireman etc. Women are all working those jobs.

Pampers Fathers Day BBQ Event

Last night I was to attend a Fathers Day BBQ in NYC, but unfort unately at the last minute things changed. I still wanted to share some of the photos and information from the event with you.

The event was help at Event 37 in NYC and had some great celebrites on hand like James Van Der Beek, Shonn Greene, Drew Lachey, Ali Landry, and Alejandro Monteverde.

The event held by Pampers was to just be fun and relaxing. Enjoying your time and dad bonding with baby. They had photo sessions and fun activites.

Reward programs are so much fun. I always buy brands that reward me for purchasing their products. Right now every time you buy select Kimberly Clark products You can earn rewards for Cars 2 toys, movie tickets and a $10 Visa gift card.

***I received some of the Cars 2 branded products like Kleenex tissue, Huggies wipes, and Cottonelle Tissue (although the Cottonelle didn’t have a Cars 2 sticker on it?)  These products are something I use on a daily basis, and It’s great that now you can get rewarded for buying them. The Scott paper towels even have Cars pictures on them, unfortunately I have not been able to find them in store.  The Cottonelle tissue is extremely soft and great for runny noses, unfortunately after 1 roll I had to stop using them, they caused a plumbing problem. The plumber even said that since its so thick its common.

My son has been in love with the kleenex tissue box because its covered in Cars images and even came with 3D glasses.

Get Your Daly Fiber With Fiber One Cereal GiveawayClosed

The 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans say people should consume 25-38 grams of fiber daily, and that the average American consumes only 15 grams.  With Fiber One cereal you can get 30% of your daily value per serving.

1000 bloggers took a survey about daily fiber and here are the results:

  • 30 percent thought they were getting the recommended Daily Value of
    fiber
  • 66 percent say they struggle to incorporate fiber into their diets
  • 51 percent said that they don’t think about incorporating fiber into
    their diet, while 21 percent said fiber is too difficult to find in foods they
    enjoy
  • 45 percent said they would like their fiber to come with honey

***I got to try 5 different flavors of Fiber One cereal and they are all good. Some better than others, My favorite would be Carmel delight. It’s kindof taste like cinnamon with a carmel flavor. There are 5 different flavors to choose from, so you are guaranteed to find  a flavor you like.
